FAQ-Players

What is UnleagueSports.com?

It’s a platform that makes pickup hockey better. The core design is to help contract owners manage attendance fluctuations. Many options are available to owners that control signups.

I need an account, what are the details?

Getting started is super easy. Just follow these easy steps:

  1. Pick your username – Make it fun and interesting because we use it throughout the site.
  2. Enter your email address – We are SPAM compliant.
  3. Enter and confirm a password.
  4. Add a reminder message – Help us help you remember your password.
  5. Read the Terms and Conditions – no excuse not to read it, under 100 words in total.

That’s it. You now have a full access player account.

I found a time I would like to play, now what?

UnLeagueSports.com allows each contract owner to control their time. Some owners allow you to sign up directly while others will have new players go through the approval process. The best advice is to email the contract owner and start a dialogue. This allows the contract owner to get to know you and gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the players and skill level needed.

The time is full. Do I have to keep coming back to check for a spot?

Every time has a waiting list. When a player removes their name from the active list of players, the first player on the waiting list is automatically added to the active list. When a player is activated, the system sends an email to let you know. All waiting list players should check the website before game time and not rely on the email only.

I see other players on the list and there are spots available
but the system says I can’t sign up yet. Why?

Contract owners have many options to control their signups. Since each contract owner controls their time, we suggest you email the contract owner.

I want my own bio picture. How do I get one?

Bios and pictures are controlled by you. Photos can be uploaded by pulling down the menu next to your name. There are also links to upload a bio photo or maintain your bio next to your spot on the time page.

Because everyone wants to play!
